Islamophobia in Malaysia? Are you sure there’s Islamophobia in a Muslim country? Some may ask in disbelief. Unfortunately it has become an acceptable way in our daily life that many don’t even realise that this is widespread and wrong.

MACSA Inaugural Islamophobia Report 2017-2020 records incidences of Islamophobic tendencies occurring in Muslim-majority Malaysia. This Report is the first of its kind to document the many hate speeches and prejudices that plagued the Malaysian society and caused many Muslims to be unconsciously discriminated.

MACSA has compiled instances to outline the Islamophobic incidences in Malaysia during the reporting period of 2017 – 2020 to record publicly these Islamophobic instances as a way to create awareness for the public so that future instances can be immediately recognised and be called upon. In the meanwhile MACSA will continue from time to time to make public statements condemning Islamophobic instances as it has done in the past.

Filled with over 30 colored pictures on 85 pages of glossy papers, the Report is available in English, bahasa Melayu and Mandarin at RM25 each including postage.
